Incredible couple of days in that hotel in Bordeaux, the capital of wine!

At last another week’s holiday set for late June. We go to an apparently excellent hôtel à Bordeaux, has never been got therefore more than the average sentence in. The southern French city of Bordeaux will most likely images of (red) wine bottles calls. Normal reaction, but the big show something else in store to have a beautiful city, an almost countless number of sites and (like my girlfriend) major shopping. Daily departures are also direct flights from Brussels and Amsterdam to Bordeaux, but we go by car, en route we will again stop in Paris.

According to a good web site, the visitor to a hôtel Bordeaux immediately notice that all the ingredients are present for a super successful and diverse city. Its location near the Atlantic Ocean and along the Garonne, the city and its inhabitants much wealth concerns. Beautiful squares, beautiful buildings and rich museums you fall during a holiday in a hotel in Bordeaux turn. Are you citytrip Bordeaux with children seems that you certainly warship and must call the Cap Sciences. Coincidentally, our Hotels in Bordeaux not far from the tourist attractions. Also I have done what we asked about the city tore to escape. How relaxing our Bordeaux hotels may be, I like to take the middle nature to go. It seems we can obtain in the Jardin Public or in the beautiful scenery of the Grand Théâtre. Because the cultural heritage is so important is the old town of Bordeaux since 2007, the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. In a hôtels à Bordeaux So apparently if you dive in history. Mmmm …

I can not wait to leave! Of course I would like during our week in this hotel in Bordeaux things go wine tasting. The vineyards of the Haut-Medoc, Saint-Emilion and Entre-Deux-Mers I absolutely agree with your own saw. The center of the Wine Institute show in the city itself to be. In addition, you also Bordeaux wines to taste and buy something I definitely will do in the Hotel Bordeaux and beyond. About the history of Bordeaux wines, you can learn a lot in the same museum and attraction Vinorama. Who is passionate by this wine is certainly the biennial events Fête du Vin and Vinexpo visits, is now just possible that this go on when we are in a Bordeaux hotel stay. Super!

From Antwerp to a hotel in Bruges

If you’re planning on making a trip to a hotel in Bruges, make sure the wonderful city of Bruges is on your list, next to other beautiful Flemish cities like city trip to Brussels, Ghent & city trip to Antwerp. Everything an average tourist needs to make his stay unique and unforgettable, Bruges has. Whether you’re British or Chinese, in your twenties or retired, Bruges has it all and will fascinate you every second of your stay. The first thing that hits the eye is the seemless match between the old and the new and visiting this extremely beatiful medieval town will soon convince you of the fact that Bruges truly owns the nickname ‘Venice of the North’. The best way to spend your time in Bruges is to stay one or more nights in one of the many fine Bruges hotels that offer views on romantic canals everywhere you look. The vast majority of those hotels Bruges are located in one of the hundreds of old cobbled traffic-low streets and alleys.

hôtel Bruges totally deserved to be crowned as ‘European Capital of Culture’ in 2002. This year-long cultural event was the highpoint of a centuries long and very rich cultural history. Bruges is widely known to be one of the most picturesque cities in Northern Europe, and therefore was put on the list of the World Heritage Site of UNESCO. Nowadays more than a million people come to stay in a hotel in Brugge in the historic centre every year. About a 125.000 people still live in the centre and the outskirts of the city. There is not a single resident who isn’t proud of being able to spend his life in the city. It’s absolutely charming to see how friendly they are and how they try to impress you every time with their charm and enthousiasm to show you around ‘their’ city.p> Note that one of the finest hotels Bruges can be found near the Belfry. If you’re more into the new and not that keen on old culture, staying in a Hotel Brügge is definitely also worth it: at the newly built Concert Hall (look at the stunning architecture!), is one of the most prominent and best designed music complexes in Flanders. You can emerge yourself there in high quality contemporary culture on a daily basis.

Raining or freezing? Don’t let your head down because Bruges never seizes to amaze you, all year round! It’s hard not to remember your stay in Bruges once you have gazed at it on a snowy day in Winter or on a hot summer day in July. Please note that Bruges can become very crowded during the day. But at night, when the vast majority of tourists are asleep in one of the many hotels in Bruges, the city totally reclaims its charm and quiet, just like the old days. For everyone who doesn’t like big crowds during the day, there’s the streets and canals to the north of the egg-shaped city. They will take you right up to the ‘Vesten’, the ancient and beautifully restored fortifications that still surround the city. The evergreen lawns seem to never end there, the age-old trees have been there forever and are here and there accompanied by some marvellously renovated traditional windmills. Last time I stayed at a luxury hotels in Bruges, pretty good actually but next time I might consider one of the budget hotels in Bruges, if you know what I mean!

Other fascinating cities close to Antwerp

Antwerp might well be the biggest and most influential city in Belgium, the small country houses numerous other interesting cities where visitors can find many cultural, historical, architectural and gastronomical treasures. Cities like Bruges, Ghent and Brussels each welcom millions of tourists each year and this obviously doesn’t happen for no reason! Staying in a hotel Brussel for example will bring you right in the heart of the city of the Atomium and Manneken Pis, with lots of interesting things to see.

A stay in a Brussels hotel ensures you of a sparkling journey in a city full of un: city of thousands of shops, of protected monuments and panoramic views, of movies, concerts and theatre, of hospitality and multiculturalism. A weekend away from home in Brussels is one of the best guarantees for a wonderful city trip!

In a hotel Brugge you are also where you need to be if you like interesting and fascinating cities. Almost the entire historical city centre of Bruges has been put on the World Heritage List, so millions of people come each year to stay at least one night in a Bruges hotel. Many of these hotels Bruges are located along these age old cobbled streets and alleys, or along one of the many enchanting and world famous Bruges canals.

During my time in a hotel in Gent, namely the Hotel Chamade I could here and there pick up some resemblances of Bruges, especially in the historical city centre (as beautiful as Bruges’). The quality of the Ghent hotels is also comparable to Bruges. The biggest difference of staying in a hotel Gent is perhaps that the city is a lot more modern and vibrant, mainly because of the presence of 30.000 students!

Staying in that other famous student town, in a Kortrijk hotel is surprisingly fun as well, for example the Hotel Broel is especially good, and a very luxurious in the middle of the city so I would recommend it to anyone!
